Born January 17, 1929 in Willowbunch, Sask. Passed Away June 7, 2006 in Lac La Hache, B.C. Denis moved to Lac La Hache from Saskatchewan in 1957. He married Fern Royer in 1963 and together they had six children. He worked in the sawmill industry for about forty years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and outdoor activities with his family and friends. Denis will be dearly missed. Denis is survived by his loving wife, Fern; children, Dan (Chris), Louise (Gordon), Suzanne (Derek), Alain (Angie), Mary-Lynn (Craig), Nancy (Brent); Grandchildren, Troy, Kyle, Clinton, Marissa, Faith, Gracie, Tianna, Eric, Ryan and Natassja. Denis is also survived by several brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Catholic Funeral Mass was held June 12, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Judes Catholic Church officiated by Father Emil Sasges. Interment at McKinley Pioneer Cemetery, Lac La Hache, B.C.
