With grieving hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Debz. After a valiant battle with cancer, Debz succumbed to the disease at our home in Lac la Hache. Predeceased by her father, Patrick Egan, Debz is survived by her loving husband Joe, son Robert, daughter Katie (James) and grandson Willy. Also survived by her parents Rob and Joan McCallum, brother Andrew, in-laws Joe and Renee Lidster and numerous sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Debz was employed by School District 27 and loved working with children. She had a tremendous amount of compassion and empathy for every child.
A heartfelt thank you to all our friends, family and health professionals who assisted us and Debz through her journey.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the South Cariboo Health Foundation would be appreciated.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will take place at the 100 Mile House Baptist Church, located at 5495 Tatton Stn. Rd., 105 Mile on Saturday, December 4 at 1:30 p.m.
