With great sorrow we announce the passing of Curtis Bird on Dec. 8, 2006. He is survived by loving wife Arja; sons Colin (Kezia), Curtis (Helen) and Stewart (Nicole); sister Nevella; and nieces and nephews. Curtis loved the outdoors, especially camping, hiking and exploring back roads. Despite his disabilities, he was a hard-worker and his family’s needs were always a priority. He worked in various fields over his lifetime: as a postman, logger and in the food industry. Curtis will be forever loved and missed so very much.

If desired, donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation or to 100 Mile Hospice and Palliative Care Society, in lieu of flowers and cards. A memorial will be held in spring of 2007.
