Calvert Evans HARRIS

A long-time resident of 100 Mile House passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Langley Gardens, at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his wife Helga. Loving father to Darryl and his wife Lorelee, Debby, Bill and his wife Marg, Gloria and her husband Corey. Granddad, PaPa (Owie) will be sadly missed by Ainslee and her husband Ian, Jennee, Chelsey, Landon, Trevor, Caden, Mykenna and little Trevor. Loving brother to Noreen and Audrey and good friend and brother-in-law to Noreen’s husband Vic LaChapolle. Caring Uncle to Linda and Russell. Fondly remembered by friends and families of his sons and daughters as well as many people he met along the way during his travels and job as a milkman. He was his own man and a unique individual who always found something good in everybody. He will be missed but certainly not forgotten. His family and friends will be getting together on May 17, 2008 (his 81st birthday) to celebrate his life. The family would like to thank all the nurses and caregivers at Langley Gardens for their tremendous support, caring and the friendship they provided our Dad, Granddad and Brother. His family appreciates your thoughts of sadness but even more so, appreciates the smile that will come to your face when you recall how he touched your life. As per his wishes and in lieu of flowers and/or donations, please make a private toast to him with your favourite beverage in hand. Condolences and a happy story may be sent to dharris@focusedsolutions,ca. These will be shared with family on May 17, 2008.
