Barbara Mavis Mountain (nee Morson)
August 2, 1923 - August 13, 2017
Barbara passed away peacefully August 13, 2017 in 100 Mile District General Hospital from complications of a hip fracture.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond, in 2001 and her youngest child, Shirley, in 2010.
She had her 94th birthday while in hospital.
Barbara moved from the lower mainland to 100 Mile House in 2010 to be close to the Akerman and Dufresne families, as they are her children, grandchildren, great and even great great grandchildren.
Barbara lived at Pioneer Haven where she enjoyed the company of many friends.
Barbara is survived by a large four-generation family in the 100 Mile House area and the lower mainland, as well as the islands.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 14th at 11:00 am at the Horse Lake Christian Fellowship, 5827 Horse Lake Road.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
