Anne DINSDALE

August 2, 2004

Anne Dinsdale, matriarch to the Dinsdale Family, passed away peacefully surrounded by three generations of family at 100 Mile Hospital, B.C. Born in Lancashire, England, Anne immigrated to Canada with her husband and the first two of her seven children, in 1952. Anne continued to lovingly raise five more children in the lower mainland and Vancouver Island area before eventually moving to 100 Mile House for her final five years. “Nana D” was happiest caring for her family, drawing, cooking, knitting, listening to music, dancing, and playing bingo with her many friends. Known for her love, affection and devotion to her family, her strong character and incredible sense of humour, Anne will be profoundly missed by all who crossed her path. She was predeseased by her husband, Noel Bart Dinsdale (1982) and son Christopher (1994), Anne leaves to mourn six children, Heather (Bob) Campbell of 100 Mile House, B.C., Nigel (Doreen) Dinsdale of Duncan, B.C., Keith (Terry) Dinsdale of Pharump, Nevada, Neville (Nancy) Dinsdale of Entwistle, AB, Anita (Colin) May of Lloydminster, AB, and Justin Dinsdale of Burnaby, B.C.; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Forever in our hearts, we will love and miss you always. “A fine Lancashire lass!” Funeral services Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 1 p.m. at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Duncan, B.C.
