Invalid license

On Feb. 25, Cariboo-Chilcotin Traffic Services stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 97 at Alpine Avenue. The male driver from the Lower Mainland was determined to not have a valid driver’s license. He was issued a 24 hour driving prohibition for liquor consumption and he was also issued tickets for failing for no driver’s license, failing to produce insurance and speeding. His vehicle was towed.

Open liquor

On Feb. 24, 100 Mile RCMP stopped the driver of a Toyota Tundra on Birch Avenue in 100 Mile as the vehicle did not have valid insurance. During that investigation, it was determined that the male driver had open liquor in the vehicle, received a “warn” on the approved screening device and was driving contrary to his restrictions. He was issued a series of tickets and received a three-day immediate roadside driving prohibition. His vehicle was towed and impounded.
