100 Mile House Cadets hosts Graham Cracker house fundraiser

Revenue goes to Winter Fun Days at the Spruce Hill Resort and Spa

The 2887 Rocky Mountain Rangers Army Cadet Corps is holding a fundraiser at the Horse Lake Training Centre on Dec. 3

Cariboo families and residents are invited to make Graham Cracker houses for Christmas. The cadets will provide the graham cracker houses, created beforehand by the cadets, as well as the candies, treats and chocolates for decoration.

Participants then come in for two hours to decorate their houses.

There are three time slots in which to participate: 9:30-11:30 a.m; noon-2 p.m.; and 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Everyone is welcome, although folks must register before attending. There will be limited seating so no walk-ins will be admitted.

Tickets are $10 per person or $20 for a family of four or more. They can be purchased when folks register at 99 Mile Super Market, Smitty's and Yummers En Route.

The Horse Lake Training Centre is located at 5830 Horse Lake Rd.

The money raised will go to Winter Fun Days for the cadets. The fun day will see the cadets tubing at Spruce Hill Resort and Spa, followed by dinner, and then a horse-drawn sleigh ride.
